Thankful for our Bloggers!

Thanksgiving will soon arrive! I have so much to be thankful for. I've been blessed with a good husband and two amazing kids (not to mention my sweet Grand Dog!) I am walking again, Praise the Lord!!! We have had safe travels on the road trips we've taken. This past year I've had an abundance of book contracts with one of my favorite publishers -- Barbour Publishing and with some of my favorite authors!!! One of my upcoming releases is a novel, that is a book of my heart, set in one of my favorite places on earth -- Mackinac Island! And for many years now I've been so blessed to have Diana Flowers and Noela Nancarrow blogging with me here on Overcoming With God blog!

We're about to start our "Barbour-Palooza" month on Overcoming With God blog, where I will have Barbour backlist books, and some new ones, as giveaways over the next six weeks. Vickie McDonough and Erica Vetsch will be sharing with us and we were blessed to have Susan Page Davis also visit us recently on the blog!
Noela Nancarrow, International Contributor
Sadly, we'll be saying goodby to our Aussie Angel, Noela Nancarrow, and in the new year to our Senior Reviewer, Diana Flowers.  But I have been very thankful and grateful to both of these amazing reviewers!

We'll be celebrating with them, before they leave the blog. We're praying for the very best for both of them both in physical and spiritual health!

What are you grateful for this year? What changes do you have ahead in your life?

  1. Carrie, I know that I speak for myself and Noela as well when I say what a joy and blessing it has been to be a part of OWG blog. We have all grown very close (like sisters) and will continue to be even after leaving the blog. I have made so many wonderful, supportive friends many of whom have become my FB friends.

I'm grateful that Carrie asked me to join her on her blog and believed I could write even when I was doubtful. I'm grateful for the Lord Jesus Christ in my life, my family, and lastly Christian fiction authors. What a blessing you are to our viewers and to so many other thousands of fans of Christian fiction. Your hard work and dedication have brought us so many hours of reading pleasure. I still plan on promoting your books, just on a lesser scale. It's in my blood to talk about great novels, and I don't think anybody could shut my mouth up about that!

Please pray for me and dear Noela as we move on to a different phase in our lives. I will miss blogging for OWG immensely, but am looking forward to seeing what the future holds! God bless you and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

  5. I have so much to be thankful for - the most important being salvation through my Lord who brings me peace and joy through life's trials. My family and friends are such blessings - their prayers encourage, cheer, and sustain me. I can't adequately put into words just how much joy, entertainment, education, and inspiration Christian Fiction and it's authors add to my life on a continual basis. I'm grateful for the opportunity to share it all on Overcoming With God with readers, and for the blessing my blog sisters Carrie, Diana, Noela, and Teresa are to me on a daily basis!! I'm grateful for the lessons life's trials have taught me - the added closeness to Him they've brought, an added awareness of my many blessings - both large and small - and the needs of others.
