My husband is the worship leader at our church, so on the following Sunday he was describing what had happened to mom. He pointed out how God had kept her safe this time and perhaps many other times we didn't know about, he quoted Psalm 91:11 "For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways."
The next morning when he went out to get in his car to go to work he noticed there was something imprinted on top of his car. The first thing he thought was it looked like the shape of a huge wing and he was immediately reminded of what he had talked about the day before in Church; God's Angels. He came back in the house to get the camera so he could take a picture of it and there is no mistaking what it is. We do not have any trees that could have made this imprint and we live in the city and there are no large birds that could have made it either. We believe that God allowed this to happen to prove that His word is true...He Will Give His Angels Charge Over Thee...
**I want to add that last week Carlton talked to the man that bought Mom's house and he told him the house had been broken into a few days before. I felt really bad for him but I started to praise God that all the while Mom was in that house and the two years it sat empty not one time did anyone get inside. I believe it was under God's protection because of all the prayers Mom had sent up through the years!!

ReplyDeleteI had an experience once where I was in church praying for an anointing of the Holy Spirit for witnessing and as I was, I felt this flapping on my head!! I felt in my spirit it was like a physical sign that the Holy Spirit had touched me! Anyways afterwards I'd gone downstairs and SUDDENLY I found myself witnessing to these young guys who were visitors, but it was like it wasn't me talking! And it was not something I planned to even do... It was only afterwards I thought about the experience that I'd just had upstairs in church.
Lol, I guess that's not so much an ANGELS testimony but the WINGS reminded me of this!
NOELA that's a wonderful testimony! It's so amazing how GOD answers our prayers sometime!
ReplyDeleteI think I told this story here before about the time my son fell out of the car as I was making a turn and how a "man" got to him before I could even get the car stopped and run to him. Another time, he was riding his little toddler ride-on toy around the top of our apartment stairs (they formed a half circle, with another building forming another half circle, creating a courtyard in the center (this is where Diana & I met...), when suddenly, he decided to try riding DOWN THE STAIRS! I was watching him from the opposite side & couldn't get to him, and had to watch as he was grasping for the hand rails. I believe God helped him grasp the railing midway down, which was a life savor, because it was cement at the bottom.
ReplyDeleteBTW--this is the same son who is going through a very trying time right now, as he feels he has lost most everything in life--his job, his car, his wife and barely hanging on to his daughter, as his wife makes it difficult to be able to see his daughter. I think I need to remind him of how God has protected him as he was a little guy and He will provide for Him now, as long as he trusts God to handle it!

And the photo of the aangel wing on the car is beautiful!
