What happens when we believe God’s Word? Do miracles still happen?

Charity Davis had not seen her husband since the war started in 1861. What a surprise it was when he was delivered at her doorstep one day in 1863. Severely wounded, Mitchell Davis prayed for one more day with his wife. God granted his wish and Charity and Mitchell had one more beautiful and heavenly day together, full of enjoyment and love.

This story is based on Isaiah 38 where King Hezekiah’s life was extended for many more years. Mitchell asked for just one more day with his lovely wife. And together they lived the day to the fullest.
Murray Pura really touched my heart with this sweet and tender love story. Pura’s way with words is fantastic. He is one of the few authors who can make my heart skip a beat while reading his heartfelt stories—stories that never cease to amaze me. It doesn’t matter if it is a short story or a full length novel—everything he writes is amazing!

This story is available at Amazon for only $0.99.

  2. As a reader, I felt this story as full of longing. Not just the longing between Charity and Mitchell to be together once again, which was completely and unconditionally beautiful through the whole novella, but my heart longed for what I knew was going to happen NOT to happen. It was so much like real life. You know something's coming, you can't stop it, but you long for it not to take place. Murray sure captured that emotion for me. I think I'll post this as my review :)

  3. It will be the next on my list of TBR--right after Carrie's..., which will be after I finish my current book. If I would stop going sight-seeing, I could get it finished! ;-) I just need to learn patience...

    1. thank you Carrie - your story was a blessing to begin the series with - one day we'll all be wrapped up in one fat paperback together - you'll have to think who to dedicate your novella to then
