In this heartwarming story we meet Luke Hayes, a
Rancher from Teton Valley, Wyoming. Luke has always loved the great
outdoors with its clean invigorating air; even the call of the wild brings
comfort to him. There is no place in the world he would rather be, but when his
Grandfather passes away and names Luke as heir to his fortune he has to head to
Valley Falls, New York. While in Valley Falls he has to persuade his little
sister Samantha to come home without telling her the reason why. Luke is sure
it won't take long to rid himself of whatever his Grandfather has left him.
When Luke swaggers into Hayes Academy looking the part
of a cowboy from the boots on his feet, to the gun at his side, all the way to
the hat on his head; Elizabeth Wells, Samantha's Math Teacher cannot believe
her eyes. Who does this man think he is showing up in an All Girl's School? To
make matters worse Samantha has jumped up and thrown herself in his arms in
front of the whole class! Then it hits her, before her stands the man that can
make or break Hayes Academy; The Hayes Heir.
When Luke realizes the extent of his Grandfather's
vast fortune he knows he cannot get rid of it as easily as he thought; there
are a lot of people that will be affected by the changes. Looks like he will
have to come back after taking Samantha home but when she refuses to leave
Valley Falls before she graduates Luke reluctantly agrees to a slight delay.
Luke wants to tell her her the reason she is needed home so quickly but he is
sworn to secrecy.
Luke is bombarded with people wondering if he will
have the same heart for giving that his Grandfather did. Hayes Academy seems to
be one place that truly needs that huge donation his Grandfather had been giving!
Will a certain feisty Math teacher be able to persuade him that girls deserve
an education too? Will Elizabeth be the lure that makes Luke want to stay in
Valley Falls?
I've
always loved a good cowboy story and this one by Naomi Rawlings didn't
disappoint. There are a lot of unexpected twists that will keep you flipping
those pages. Don't be surprised if you will be like me and not want to put it
down until the very last page has
been devoured! Thanks Naomi!
You may
purchase this book and others by Naomi at Amazon, CBD, Barnes and Noble and other

DeleteA cowboy...oh yeah :)
ReplyDeleteor should I say, 'Nuff said ;)
DeleteYeah, 'Nuff said' or 'Say no more', lol either or, I couldn't agree more! ;)
DeleteYou two are cracking me up!! But I know what you mean!! :-P
DeleteI'm totally with you on the 'Nuff said." :-D
DeleteThanks TERESA for that awesome review of yours! It truly sounds like an enjoyable and compelling read - and it is DEFINITELY going on my wish list as well! Amazon makes it difficult for me (being overseas) to download the e-book version, so with these Love Inspired books, I have to wait until I'm doing a book order for a few ppb's. Oh and like Diana, I adore the cover too... very romantic! :)
ReplyDeleteHa! When I went to Amazon to add it the Wish list, I clicked on the Kindle version 'just in case' and it was available for download! I'm not sure but perhaps it's just when they are on special or going for free, that Amazon restricts overseas downloads.. At any rate, I have it now so I'm happy! :)
DeleteYAY!! So glad you were able to grab a copy! You would think since it's an ebook it would be easy to obtain.
DeleteAwesome, Noela! I hope you enjoy it. :-D
DeleteI want to read more of this book!!!! I am so into it already. Such a cute love story.

bonnieroof60(at)yahoo(dot)com
Hello BONNIE so good to "see" you!! Hmm...I think could be right about that cowboy, but this time it could be the leading lady that needs a change of heart!! ;-) Can't say anymore except the road to happy endings sometimes has a lot of bumps, twists and unexpected turns and that does make for a good storyline!! :-) Here's hoping you are one of our blessed winners!!
DeleteI actually changed the ending partway through this story. So the hero and heroine do indeed end up in a different spot than where I'd originally thought, but it worked out. I like this ending better. :-)
DeleteA cowboy in NY, sounds like a fish out of water!
ReplyDeletepattymh2000(at)yahoo(dot)com
PATTY you are so right but when you have the right "lure" you might find yourself being reeled in!! lol Thanks for the smile!!
DeleteTotal fish-out-of-water! It was really great to play around with that theme.
DeleteI would love to read one of Naomi's books. I read about 300 books a year and prefer Christian romance, but I don't remember reading one of hers before.
ReplyDeleteJANICE isn't it great to be able to read that many books? Naomi is a fairly new author so maybe that's why you haven't run across hers yet, I sure hope you get to read this one soon!! Thanks for coming by OWG!
DeleteThere are a whole lot of choices these days about what Christian author to read, isn't there? I'm grateful for such a wide selection. :-)
Deletewandrnlady@aol.com - Janice Hopkins

DeleteThanks to everyone for stopping by. I loved being on OWG two years ago, and being back has been a real treat. So lovely to meet all of you fun Christian romance readers!
