New Christian Regency Blog - Laurie Alice Eakes' Week

Laurie Alice Eakes with her dog Nick at Frontier Culture Museum

Laurie Alice Eakes is one of the new editors of the Regency Reflections group blog. This is a group blog of Christian Regency authors and is brand new!  One of the members is Sarah E. Ladd.

I want to give a big shout out to my critique partner, Sarah E. Ladd, who just landed a three book contract with Thomas Nelson publishing company. Laurie Alice and Sarah are both represented by Tamela Hancock Murray of the Steve Laube Agency.

With Laurie Alice and all the members of the new blog, I think Regency will be rocking the boat for some time to come!

Go over and check out the new blog!  Vanessa Riley's Christian Regency website hosts this new blog. Either use the hotlink in the first line of this post or use the hotlink for Vanessa and go over to the right upper side of the blog and click on the Regency Reflections blog.

Some of the other ladies who contribute to the blog are: Linore Rose Burhard, Ruth Axtell, Naomi Rawlings, and more (here is the link to the contributors' page.

GIVEAWAY:  The winners for this week's drawings will be posted Sunday afternoon.  Leave a comment and your email address for a chance to win a copy of one of Laurie Alice's books from OTT-WGH and another winner will receive an ebook of Laurie Alice's The Glassblower.

  9. NAOMI, The word I keep hearing repeated is "brilliant" lol! I think Diana uses that term every time she mentions her. And Laurie Alice is. Praying she never has another bad year like this last one, though.

  10. I use the word "brilliant" and "wow". :) Seriously, when I read the first two chapters of Heart's Safe Passage, I was so amazed at her "brilliant" descriptions of everything, I kept saying "wow"! I really did!

  13. Thank you, Carrie, I pray I don't ahve another year like this past one either. I read back inmy journal and say, "How have I survived and managed to write three books and two novellas, too?" By the Grace of God.

And, diana, thank you for using brilliant. Not a word I think of when thinking of myself, but then, Ilive with a genius.

I wrote poetry, little of which has survived, thank the Lord quite sincerely, and maybe that' sinfluenced my style a bit. I just write things as I see and feel them in my head.

  14. LAURIE ALICE, my mom kept one of my poems, and I too thank God the rest of mine didn't survive! Praying this coming year is not only full of books and novellas completed but healing and blessings and no big icky stuff and no moves!!! Well, God knows best.

Drumroll, I am about to announce a winner in a minute!
