Interview with Robin Caroll

Robin Caroll is the author of Injustice For All, the first book in the Justice Seekers series, her twelfth novel.

I met Robin through ACFW as she is the Conference Director for the annual conference.

Robin, welcome to Overcoming Through Time – With God’s Help.  Would you share either the most difficult thing in your life you have had to overcome, with God’s help, or the most tragic situation or circumstance one of your character’s has had to get past?
In Injustice For All, the heroine must overcome the tragic loss of first her parents, then the godfather who raised her. This is extremely difficult for her as she recognizes the killer of her beloved godfather, and knows that if she tries to bring him to justice, she’ll be killed. Injustice For All is the journey she undergoes to see justice finally prevail.

What is your favorite bible verse and why? Philippians 4:13….because without Christ, I can do nothing, but with Him, I can do all He’s enabled me to do.

Disability friendliness:
Is this latest release available in audio format or do you have any other works available on audio?
Almost all of my novels are available on audio, Kindle, and some are also large-print editions through subsidiary publishers.

What has been the most important thing you hope your readers will get from your books and why? I hope readers enjoy a good, entertaining read, but one filled with hope at the end of the story. It’s my wish that my novels encourage people to think, rely on their faith, and know that God is always with us, even in the hard times.

As you researched your books, did you learn anything that particularly touched your heart? For Injustice For All, I sat through several trials in our federal courtroom. I watched people’s lives being put in the hands of others, and truth often not being revealed. The heartbreaking outcome of some of these trials literally broke my heart.

Thank you Robin for agreeing to answer these questions.  Have a blessed day and keep on writing!!

GIVEAWAY:  A copy of one of Robin's paperbacks or an ebook to one fortunate reader* this week! (*ebook only for International winners.) Offer void where prohibited by law.

  2. Wonderful interview, CARRIE and ROBIN!! Thank you, ROBIN, for being our special guest this week on Overcoming Through Time-With God's Help! I am looking forward to hearing more about your books this week, since I have as yet not read one, a situation that must be remedied! Well, back to my review I was just in the middle of. ;)

  5. I loved your interview Carrie with Robin. Robin, Philippians 4:13 is a favorite verse of mine. I must say, I have many as I'm sure you do too! You are a new author to me and I love Christian authors that their novels encourage people to think, rely on their faith, and know that God is always with them, even in the hard times. Our sermon this morning was on putting our trust and our lives completely into God's hands. Sadly, I have not always done this and I was very much convicted today. My husband said he was too. We both prayed to do better and to always honor God in our speech and actions. Praise God He forgives us when we fail.

Injustice For All sounds like a great read and I'd love to win a copy of it.

    Blessings!

  6. Hello, everyone. Thank you for having me.

So much of this series relied on my emotions I experienced during personal trials. It's so hard to believe in a legal system when you have to sit quietly and watch people lie on a courtroom stand about people you love. It inspired me to write the "Justice Seekers" series...about people who seek out justice...the truth.

  12. Aww, thanks, all, for the kind words!

Yes, I'm the ACFW Conference Director...we're deep in registrations, but I love seeing all the names on the registrations coming through--getting excited about seeing so many I only get to see once a year!

  13. This book sounds very interesting. Would love to read it. It will be interesting to see what the 'in'justice is that your story line is about. I so admire writers for being able to conceive a story and develop it to where it is in a book/manuscript. I stand in awe. Best wishes on the success of ACFW Conference. Lot of big minds will be convened as well as big hearts.

  16. I'm not entering because I just don't have time to add another book to my TBR and I don't want
to deprive someone else of a great read. I just wanted to say that I do love Robin's books! If anyone hasn't read them, they are missing out :)

    Y'all have a great week!

  17. Hi, Robin,

I can tell you really put your heart into your stories. And you don't neglect to show the heart of God, the One Who will never leave or forsake us. Thank you for including that hope which is so lacking in the stories we see portrayed on television.

The book cover is intriguing with its use of shadows and light. It looks like just the tip of the toes are in the light; moving in the right direction or caught between two worlds?

I would like to win this book and become familiar with your writing. I have not read anything quite like this series.

    Blessings, Janice jsmithg(at)hotmail(dot)com

  18. Aww, thanks Vera. This book truly was one of my heart...I hope the impact it has on injustices in our legal system ring out!

Thank you for your kind words, Anne.....

Janice...I think they did an AMAZING job with the cover. We redid that one several times to get just the right amount of lighting, shadows, and title placement and design. The design team was AMAZING. The next two covers in the series are just as awesome!
