GOD helped me through it all with scripture and prayer. I would take my Bible with me when he was having his treatments and I would read it while waiting. Every time I would find a "treasure" that would encourage me I would share it with Carlton. With all the encouragement we were receiving I thought for sure he was going to overcome the cancer but those messages from GOD were for me to get me through the dark times that were coming. Carlton passed away on May 7th 2015 and I am so grateful that GOD helped me with overcoming the anxiety before his passing or this past year would have been so much worse. He is a wonderful Father!!

Thanks again for sharing with us on OWG! :-)Teresa Mathewshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16979337973257260777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8713519582170578996.post-82465921351806930592016-06-22T09:40:29.410-04:002016-06-22T09:40:29.410-04:00A cycle of alcohol and abuse, Rachel. My parents battled anxiety, worry, and panic attacks all during my childhood, so I have had to work hard at overcoming this. And it's usually the little nonsensical things that do a number on me, rather than the big things. But I have to get my sword which is the Word of God and also prayer is key.
