    2. Oh, Noela - thank you so much!! I so appreciate you and your sweet comments-Yes, it HAS been fun working together at OWG - your friendship is a blessing to me, my thanks to Carrie for bringing us together.

And the picture WAS taken by her when I met her in Virginia - in a hotel restaurant, overlooking the beach - where she took me for lunch (along with Jeff and Clark). She and I sat in rockers on the patio, overlooking the water, after lunch - while Jeff and Clark enjoyed the beach. I so enjoyed our time together (on 2 separate days) - she was such a wonderful, generous hostess. I'm praying all us Angels has the opportunity to get together - one day.

Love, prayers, and hugs to you - my sweet friend!!

    1. Hi, Sarah - yes, I do have a special birthday, I'm honored to share it with the date of celebration of my Savior's birth. Thank you so much for your kind comments, and your hugs. Have a blessed Christmas - I'm guessing you may have some snow for Christmas in Michigan, the temps here in Ky. are in the 70's. Very unusual for this time of the year.

  13. Happy birthday, Bonnie! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Nothing like a birthday right at Christmas. My wife's is the 31st. There have been times when she felt like her birthday was ignored because of the closeness to Christmas.

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Welcome, Edward!! Re: my Christmas birthday, there were times when I felt my birthday was ignored - just as your wife has - especially when I was a child. Now that I'm getting "old", lol, it doesn't bother me - and I've always felt kind of special in being born on the same day we celebrate the birth of Christ. For most people, there is usually too much busyness involved in the Christmas season - to devote time to planning and celebrating a birthday separately from Christmas activities. At times, my mother mentioned celebrating my birthday in the summer, but it never materialized. I dare say, the birthday that got the most attention was probably the one on which I was born. It was a cold, snowy day - hilly roads surrounding the small country town near which I lived were icy. I was born at home, the doctor arrived just in time for my birth, lol!!

Please wish your wife a "Happy Birthday" from me. Thanks for your comments, and please visit us at OWG again soon. We have wonderful book reviews, author interviews and testimonies of overcoming - with God's help, and frequent giveaways. Blessings to you and your wife this Christmas season!!

    2. Hi, Linda - haven't had the opportunity to chat with you recently, but, yes- I was glad to see your name in the comments at a recent party. I do try to attend and support as many author parties as possible.

It's been warm here in Ky., also - yesterday the temp was in the 70's, very unusual for a December here. I love having snow on Christmas day - but don't love having to drive in it, since I've retired - I've been grateful not to have to drive in it anymore, after doing so for 46 years plus.

There are a couple of other December birthdays in my family also. Actually, MY birthday is tomorrow - Christmas day. Thank you for your sweet comments and taking the time to stop by. Blessings and love to you this Christmas season and coming year, Linda - please visit with us again soon!!
