Yes, Robin Caroll is one of my favorite authors. I enjoyed her Evil Series and her first book in this new series is just awesome!

Injustice For All is about a woman who witnessed the murder on her godfather—a federal judge. She knows who the killers are and she knows she will be next. She flees from everything she knows and starts over in another state with a new identity.

FBI agent Rafe Baxter is a great guy who sacrifices his career and promotion for his friend and colleague. He gets transferred to another FBI office, but he's not easily accepted there.

Police commissioner Hayden has a lot to deal with in this book. His sister has bipolar disorder, he finds out a secret his mother kept from him for years and his best friend is in trouble. Then FBI agent Rafe comes to his town to work on a cold case and more secrets come out.

How does all those people get together in an awesome suspense? I can't tell more without spoilers, so I suggest you read the book soon!

I read this book in a little more than a day. I really had to know how all would fit together. Robin has a lively imagination that guarantees an awesome read.

*Thanks to the publisher and NetGalley for my review copy. My opinions are my own. I was not required to write a positive review.*

Robin's books are available for purchase through Amazon, CBD, Barnes and Noble and other (online) bookstores.

  4. MIRJAM, of course I'm always right. LOL

Yes, you can choose which book you want if you win. In the Shadow of Evil is waiting on my shelf to be send to you, so if you win, you'd better choose Injustice For All.

You're going to Aruba next week?

  5. Paul accidentally woke me up at 7 o'clock (I prefer 8):), when he was getting ready for work. You have a good friend in MIRJAM. Marian is always right? hmmmm... lol! Bookwise, you probably are. ;)

  6. After Natalie Holloway went missing in Aruba, I told Paul I would never go there...which is silly-look at all the people that go missing in the US and I live here!

  7. Wow, you read this in a day! Young eyes are wonderful! I did not realize there was a psychologist in this book. Sounds like she did not do that though after the very beginning. Teresa's review is up tomorrow afternoon.

  8. MARIAN thanks for the good review, this is another great book by Robin. I have read most of her books, and enjoyed every one of them!

  9. DIANA, I believe MIRJAM has been to Aruba before. People go missing everywhere--also in Holland. There's no place on this earth where you are completely safe. BUT we ARE safe in the loving arms of Jesus!

But I can understand. It was hot news here, too. When you know you go to a place where something like that happened you will always think about it, I guess.

  18. The review along with the book trailer make this book irresistible. It would be awesome to win it.

I thought the man's voice on the trailer was quite effective although I was expecting a woman's voice. I really liked that the trailer gave just enough info to make a person very curious about what is going to happen.

  24. Aww....I had to take a personal day off yesterday due to some family issues, and I come back and find all these wonderful comments. Thanks all of you!

Aruba? My husband and I went to Jamaica almost 15 years ago and we still talk about going back. We were there for 10 days and LOVED it. Except the ketchup....it was sweet! GAG. lol

Yes, this does have a forensic pyschologist as a character.....the research was fantastic and I loved learning about it. Not that I'd ever want to do that professionally, of course, but it was fun talking to people about the profession.

I try to use interesting and different professions so I can learn while I'm doing book research! :)
